In collaboration with Prof. Elisabet Englund in the University of Lund, we study nerve pathologies of the human heart in Lewy body dementias in 3D, as well as its functional consequences, with special attention to the accumulations of pathological alpha-synuclein in sympathetic/parasympathetic heart nerves and ganglia.
