In this collaborative project, Kazunori Sunadome and Alek Erickson from the laboratory of Igor Adameyko, Karolinska Institutet, Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, investigated how myofibrils and the developing cartilage interact with each other during skeletal muscle development. I contributed to this project with performing light sheet fluorescence microscopy and 3D image reconstruction of early mouse embryos with whole mount fluorescent in situ hybridization.

This beautiful and comprehensive paper was published in Nature Communications in 2023.
